6.14 Which parameters are important

Most of the parameters are only necessary from a technical point of view, they do not influence the results obtained. If you set them too small VASP will stop execution and ask you to recompile VASP with a new setting.

The only parameters to worry about are NGX,Y,Z, NG(X,Y,Z)F and NBANDS. For further discussion see section 10.
